Labor Day

We went to Shasta Lake for Labor Day weekend with our friends Rhett and Lanea. They have a boat so we went boarding, and the girls were tubing. It was so HOT and the water was so warm. We had a great time, even I went wakeboarding.

Riding Bikes

Maizy learned how to ride her bike without training wheels and has been riding her bike everyday since. She loves it!!! It only took her 2 days of a little practice and Dad's encouragement and she is a PRO. She is growing up so fast!!!

First Day of School

I can't believe Maizy is in Kindergarten already. I miss her so much during the day but I know she is having fun and learning so much already. She told me that the best part of the day is recess and that "rest time" is soooo boring and that you just sit there and do nothing. She is so cute, I am so blessed to have her.

Soccer

Maizy had her first soccer game on the 18th of Sept. It was great. She had no idea what she was doing but she was running her little heart out and keeping up with the kids and the ball. She might need to borrow some of Tava's meaness. Ha Ha, just kidding I'm sure she will get more aggressive the more she understands the game, it is just fun to watch her. Tava really loves to watch her too, I love the way they are such good friends.

Trip to Washington

We had an amazing trip to Washington to visit the family. Billy couldn't go because of work but me and the kids had a great time. Jake and Mel were there this time and we got to spend a whole week with them and their cutie Paige the Pistol. She was lots of fun and Maizy and Tava wanted to take her home with us. We love to see Kristy and the Kiddos and Jen and Mike are so fun and they like to spoil the kids and Jen spoils me by doing my hair. Grandma and Grandpa are the best to have us for so long, the kids love them so much and it kills us when we have to leave. Here are some fun pictures of our time at Washington, we loved to play outside because it was sooooo nice and hot there.

Riding in Cars

We love going outside and riding in our barbie cars!! Even Miles likes to hang out with them. Tava is getting great at steering her car and doesn't need to ride with Maizy all the time. Good times!!!

This was a great time at the beach. We haven't had a lot of sunny days so this was really nice and to have Billy which has been working nonstop was AWESOME. The kids love their Daddy and I love to spend time with him too. He also makes really cool castles, motes, and pools that they can play in. This was actually Miles's first time at the beach, it really hasn't been nice enough. We had tons of fun.

Hey everyone, I know I am so bad at keeping up on my blog but I think I am just going to skip a some stuff so I can catch up to what's going on right now. Just for some info, I had my sweet little boy on Nov. 30 he was 8 lbs 5 oz and 20 inches long and now he is about 25 lbs and is almost 6 months old. He is so quick to smile and I love everything about him. The girls love him and are like 2 little mommies.

Halloween was so long ago but I still wanted to share some pictures from it. We went up to Washington to spend Halloween with my family and Grandma and Grandpa were very happy to see the kids. We had a great time except Billy got the Swine Flu, not fun!!

Long Time

Sorry it has been such a long time since I have written anything. I should have had a lot of pictures but for some reason our camera is missing and so is all of our Disneyland pictures. We also went to Marine World for Labor Day weekend which was a blast. I will have to get pictures up. But for now I just wanted to update you all on what is going on. We found out we are having a boy and are very excited. Only 10 more weeks and he will be here. I am scared and excited to have a new little one. Maizy couldn't be happier and Tava doesn't have a clue to what is coming. I hope she does well with not being the baby anymore. Billy has been really busy with work and we are so blessed because he is such a hard worker. I don't think I thank him enough for what he gives to us, and I still nag him about spending more time with us. I should be more grateful. Well, that's about it I will post some pictures soon.

Well, we might as well tell the world now that we know. Another baby is on the way. He or She is due on DEC. 18 , as of my ultrasound that was today I am currently 9 weeks along and hopefully I will only have to endure 3 more weeks of this terrible sick feeling. Hope everyone is as excited as Maizy. She has informed us many times that she is really looking forward to having a brother, we shall see.

Easter

We had lots of fun on Easter. Tava was a crack up with the eggs, she would just throw them in the bucket and they would crack. Maizy was a crazy girl, she could spot eggs a mile away. Needless to say we always love to watch the girls do fun things, they make it so much more interesting.

Maizy is growing up so fast. She has just ended her first full year of preschool and she is already bored being at home with old mom. She loves playing with her friends and she has such a wonderful imagination I have to laugh and take pictures when she is dressed up and being so cute.

Work

Billy has been working so hard on the Blue Lake Casino Hotel and I am so proud of him. The hotel is so big and Billy has been a huge contractor on the project. When another contractor couldn't hold it together Billy and the crew were the one's that did everything they couldn't. The whole crew has worked so hard and has done such a great job. They have done the siding, pick up framing, tile bathrooms, granite countertops, and so much more that I don't even know what he does all day. I am so proud of what a great job he has done.

Wow, I haven't updated this in so long so I will try to backtrack a little till I get to where we are now. I have been getting pestered by some about my blog so I will try to do better. I will start with Christmas because I have some great pictures of Maizy and Tava in the snow with Grandma and Grandpa. Christmas was great, we always have so much fun!!!

Halloween

Last night was Halloween and as you can see we all dressed up. We didn't get one of Billy but he was a werewolf again this year, it was still as good as last year. It was actually so warm and pretty windy but it was a great night to be out and about. Maizy was a pro at knocking and getting that candy, even Tava got some candy because the ladies thought she was soooo cute. She really was cute. Maizy's cousin Kaiden came with us and went to all the doors with Maizy, but he liked to go a little futher than just the front door, he would buzz all the way in since he was a cute bumble bee. It was pretty funny when Crystal (his mom) had to run into the house, (far into the house) to go get him. This just wasn't one house it was all the houses, he was really cute and very scared of Billy when he put his werewolf mask on. We came back to the house to a huge party. We had a lot of our friends over to play games and hang out. We had a great time and the kids were REALLY buzzed on candy. It was a great Halloween!!

Today we went to the beach because it was finally warm enough and it was probably the last warm day for the rest of the year. We always have a good time at the beach, being able to drive along the water and enjoy everything is so much fun. We go down to Moonstone where the river goes into the ocean. It was pretty warm and the dogs love to go swimming. WE LOVE THE BEACH!!!

We went to the pumpkin patch with Maizy's preschool class. Maizy was excited all week to go, it was all she could talk about. We went on October 17, it was great. After, we went out to pizza and it was a fun night altogether.

Hiking to Blue Lake

While we were camping and hunting, My brother Jake, his wife Mel and Billy and the girls went on a hike to Blue Lake. It is a glacier lake and is so beautiful. It was a hard hike especially with two little ones and we were being eaten alive by mesquitos but it was worth the view and how much fun Maizy had. We all had a good time just skipping rocks and enjoying the day.

Camping Trip

The first week of September we went up to Washington to go on a camping/hunting trip with my family. We had a great time just hanging out by the fire, talking, playing cards, reading, hiking, and cooking great dutch oven meals. My Mom, Dad, brother Jake, his wife Mel, and my sister Kristy and her little girl Kassidy all were there. I loved it, we had so much fun, I can't wait to do it again next year. Billy didn't get anything and really didn't see much, but we all had a good time anyway. Next year he will get his shot.

Davey's Wedding

This summer Billy's cousin Davey got married in Oregon at the Mount Hood Bed and Breakfast. It was so beautiful but it was so HOT!!! All of us were dying of heat, just trying to find some shade. Christina, the bride, was beautiful. We had a lot of fun and the girls were so cute!!

Parade and Rodeo

This summer we also went to the Fortuna parade and rodeo. I haven't really been to a rodeo before and we had so much fun. The rodeo was a little slow for the kids but they always find ways to entertain themselves. I know Billy was having a great time with them, taking them to get cookies and going to the bathroom alot because it got them out of the bleachers. They got face paintings too and that was so cute. Good times!!

So, I have had this blog for quite some time and I am just now trying it out. So I thought I would go back through my pictures and try to make up for some lost time. This summer has gone by so fast, I can't believe that it is fall and Halloween is our next holiday. I will start with one of the fairs that we went to this summer. I love fairs and I know that Maizy had no problem going to them!! We had so much fun not only with our family but with our friends and their cute kids too. I know Maizy loves to go places with her Friends.

Picture Day

Today we went to get the girls pictures done!!! It was tough but we made it and they turned out great!! Maizy was such a poser, anything the lady told her to do she did it and then some. She definetely adds something to what she told her to do. She was great with Tava too. Tava is such a little smiler, she was so cute!! I think this was one of the best picture session. So this is Tava at 8 months and Maizy is 2 years 10 months. I can't believe how fast time goes by. I love being a mother and I am so blessed to have these two beautiful girls as my daughters.
